Combat Service Support

1. The assistance provided to sustain combat forces, primarily in the fields of administration and logistics. The focus of logistics at the tactical level of war; the synchronizationsof the essential functions, activities, and task necessary to sustain soldiers and their weapon system in an area of operations; includes, but is not limited to, that support rendered by service support troops to arm, fule, fix, move, man, and sustain soldiers and their equipment.
