Critical Vulnerability

A characteristic or key element of a force that if destroyed, captured or neutralized will significantly undermine the fighting c.apability of the force and its center of gravity. A critical vulnerability is not necessarily a weakness but any source of strength or power that is c.apable of being attacked or neutralized. A successful attack on a critical vulnerability should aim to achieve a decisive point in an operation or campaign.
