Target Reference Point

1. An easily recognizable point on the ground (either natural or manmade) used for identifying enemy targets or controlling direct fires. However, does not cover law-enforcement functions and shall be without prejudice to actions at protecting the people and the communities as well as Government troops and installations against insurgent attacks. During the period, the AFP shall continue to conduct administrative and routine activities including troop movement, relief, rescue, reconstruction and rehabilitation operation, and other administrative matters such as troop rotation, relief and replacement of units.
