The purpose of this manual is to provide guidance for unit commanders and staffs in the conduct of cavalry operations in the Philippine Army.      This also provides guidance on the command and control during offensive, defensive and other tactical operations to include combat support and maneuver support of a cavalry unit. It is highly applicable in both conventional and internal security operations.
