This reference material provides technical information, training techniques, and guidance in preparation and use of explosives and demolition materials in military operations. It also includes procedures in the preparation and guidance to include safety precautions in the use and employment of explosives and demolition materials. Also included is the preparation of expedient materials for use in the conduct of demolition operations which can be applied in the current threat environment.      Trainers must ensure that safety procedures are observed at all times. Leaders, trainers, and soldiers must remember that safety is everyone’s responsibility. At no time while using this manual does speed or accuracy override personnel adherence to safety procedures.
