This manual provides general guidance on the conduct of infantry battalion operations in different environments. It establishes a fundamental doctrine to govern the performance of the infantry battalions of the Philippine Army It also provides the military guidelines for the exercise authority of the infantry battalion commanders in preparing their appropriate plans for full spectrum operations.       This also intends to provide the direction and guidance in the conduct of full spectrum operations of infantry battalion. It covers the role of the infantry battalion in the PA, fundamentals of infantry battalion, full spectrum operations, infantry battalion in the different Philippine Army operational platforms, infantry battalion in urban operations and sustainment of the infantry battalion. This will enhance the ability of the infantry battalion commanders to exercise control in the conduct of full spectrum operations in the different operational environment.
