This manual provides information and guidance for the proper utilization of Light Reaction Units (LRUs). It contains information how the LRUs operate, which serves as a basis for the unit commanders during employment. It also contains the command relationship of LRUs to its force employers and its supported units. This will also serve as reference to the following: Planners and staff officers of Army unit’s instructors. Education and training developers, managers, and implementers. Senior leaders authorized to approve and promulgate Army doctrines.
