Movement and Maneuver PAM 3-05

This manual provides general guidance on Movement and Maneuver as one of the warfighting functions. It establishes a fundamental doctrine to govern the performance of Movement and Maneuver elements in the conduct of military operations. It also provides the military guidelines for commanders under the Movement and Maneuver’s elements in preparing their appropriate plans for full spectrum operations. This also intends to provide the system and direction on the underlying relationship of movement and maneuver among the other warfighting functions. It covers movement and maneuver as a warfighting function, movement and maneuver system and operations process, elements of movement and maneuver, and full spectrum operations. This will aid the concerned commanders to effectively and efficiently employ their respective units in order to become responsive in the desired mission accomplishment.
