The purpose of this manual is to provide a doctrine for the planning, organization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the Army-wide nursing service.      This publication includes basic guidance on the management of human resources comprising of Army Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Employees in relation to their roles and functions in the accomplishment of the mission. It also aims to provide assistance and direction to line commanders and personnel staff officers on the integration of nursing service personnel activities and functions, and to strategically align these with PA’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.
