This publication includes the concepts and basic guidance necessary for the field artillery organization; command and control; operations; fire support planning and coordination; fire planning; employment; communications, logistics and special tactical operations. It does not tackle in detail air defense artillery since a separate manual, PAM 3-05, is provided for this subject. The information contained in this publication is applicable to both conventional and unconventional warfare and was made to suit the needs of the present Philippine Army and its capabilities that are to be developed.
