Purpose      This reference material provides the readers doctrinal principles on the aspects of physical security and establishes concepts and procedures on the subject that are highly valuable for commanders, staff officers and other personnel of Army intelligence units. Scope and Applicability      This reference material elaborates doctrine contained in PAM 2-00 and FC 2-01, and seeks to establish doctrinal principles and concepts for physical security. It contains the different approaches, systems, and other important doctrinal guides in the implementation of physical security measures. Appendices of this material provide relevant guides in the management and supervision of unit physical security initiatives.      Though this material is designed for use by commanders, staffs and trainers at the tactical environment, it is a valuable reference material for Army schools and as basis for physical security concerns of the Army in the full spectrum of operations.
