The purpose of this reference material is to provide the readers doctrinal guide on the aspects of VIP security and protection and establishes concepts and procedures on the subject that are highly valuable for commanders, staff officers and other personnel of Army intelligence and security units.           This reference material elaborates doctrine contained in PAM 2-00 and FC 2-01, and seeks to establish doctrinal principles, tactics, techniques and procedures for VIP security. It also contains the different approaches, systems, and other important doctrinal guides in the implementation of VIP security and protection.
