The purpose of this manual is to provide the readers doctrinal principles on special intelligence operations and establishes concepts and procedures on the subject that are highly valuable for commanders, staff officers and other personnel of Army intelligence units.      This manual elaborates doctrine contained in PAM 2-00 and FC 2-01, and seeks to establish doctrinal principles and concepts for special intelligence operations. It contains topics relevant to undercover operations and clandestine activities that serve as valuable guide in the conduct of intelligence operations in the local setting.
