
This manual prescribes the Philippine Army’s policy for the proper wear and appearance of Army uniforms and insignia, as worn by officers and enlisted personnel of the active and reserve components of the Army. This publication covers the authorization for wear, composition, and classification of uniforms, and the occasions for wearing all personal (clothing bag issue), optional, and commonly worn organizational Army uniforms. It also states the authorized awards, insignia, and paraphernalia on the uniform, and how these items are worn. General information is also provided on the authorized material, design, and uniform quality control system. All policies stated herein shall apply to all active and reservist members of the Philippine Army. It shall also apply to Army Reserve Officer Training Corps, only when its respective regulations do not include sufficient guidance or instruction. The proponent of this manual is the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, G1, Philippine Army. However, Doctrine and Capability Integration Center (P) TRADOC, PA is responsible for the review and update of this publication.
